Promoting Simplicity and Affordability in IoT: 1NCE and AWS Announce a New Strategic Collaboration

By

Good Wednesday morning, readers.

Back in October, we took a beat to recap our past coverage of 1NCE, an innovative provider of software and connected products for the Internet of Things.

Here are the long-story-short highlights:

  • 1NCE’s global team supports the complete IoT supply chain and lifecycle, serving as a key enabler in solving exceptionally important IoT-centric challenges customers around the world are facing.
  • 1NCE offers its IoT Lifetime Flat service — “$10 for 10 years” of IoT connectivity (now accessible in even more countries) — as well as its powerful software tools for connected products through 1NCE OS.
  • Positioning itself proudly as the “Robin Hood of IoT,” 1NCE has formed strategic partnerships with Blues Wireless, Pocketalk and SoftBank (among others) and also offers a.) its 1NCE Plugins that further extend its platform’s capabilities, and b.) its Freedom to Switch, 1NCE’s future-proofed answer to vendor challenges in IoT.

“Connectivity doesn’t have to be as complex as the world makes it seem,” expressed Ivo Rook, who previously held the position of 1NCE’s Chief Operating Officer and has since been promoted to Co-CEO. (For the full rundown of recent executive appointments and promotions within 1NCE, read our story here.)

Rook, of course, is right on the money here. Connectivity is the lifeblood of IoT, and it shouldn’t pose such complicated roadblocks. That’s why 1NCE does what it does; ranked as one of the fastest-growing companies in the IoT marketplace, 1NCE is a relied-upon brand that serves 23,000+ customers globally in 25 languages (managing 30 million endpoints across 173 total countries).

And just yesterday, the company made another big announcement:

1NCE has officially announced its new strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Heading into 2025, we knew 1NCE would be spearheading fresh growth strategies; suffice to say, this is certainly a brick in that road.

The 1NCE software platform (with AWS’s cloud infrastructure) provides strong availability, reliability and consistency for high-quality IoT with true data sovereignty. This collab with AWS is expected to open the way for 1NCE to continue developing its software platform and to roadmap greater expansion as a top IoT service provider. One industry analyst even stated that “1NCE’s setup — now with this AWS collaboration — offers an outstanding proposition, since there is no other IoT company growing at that pace.”

Looping back to Ivo Rook, 1NCE’s Co-CEO added how “1NCE remains a powerful combination of in-house development and strategic partnerships. AWS is one such powerful partner — supporting us to innovate, think and execute at scale.”
