Transformative IoT Leader LEXI Introduces New Universal Platform

By

In ferociously-expansive IoT markets, formulating solutions that stand out from the crowd has become less of a breakthrough and, quite plainly, more of what some call an industry minimum. Sizable leaps forward are essential to keep up with “smart-everything” adoptions as consumers at home modernize their day-to-day lives, and as businesses shift from antiquated to automated processes.

LEXI, a powerhouse in IoT, announced earlier this month the launch of its new LEXI IoT Platform. In the rolling-out of this platform, LEXI aims to differentiate at every turn; to introduce comprehensive software and hardware that take smart spaces to greater heights.

Here’s the lowdown: LEXI’s platform offers a truly powerful, flexible, and future-proofed intuitive gateway to all things IoT. With it, consumers and enterprises alike can manage and automate their smart spaces. For instance, the LEXI IoT platform can bridge smart home ecosystems, and it integrates competitive, third-party smart home products into a single, unified mobile app. (e.g. Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, etc.) LEXI makes this a reality across all major wireless protocols, and its full stack cloud platform boasts 40% faster performance than other cloud services (while remaining scalable and easy to understand and use).

To elaborate a bit, the LEXI IoT Platform has three core components:

LEXI Mobile Apps are customizable, white-labeled Android and iOS apps for adding and managing IoT devices.

LEXI’s Universal IoT Gateway includes the aforementioned support for all major wireless protocols, plus an NXP processer to run AI models at the edge.

LEXI Cloud includes an admin portal, a customer service portal, roles-based access controls, remote device control, and dashboards with rich reporting and analytics capabilities. Especially for businesses, it also includes robust and patented AI algorithms, tools for personalization, and fleet management devices.

“This is the missing piece to move IoT stakeholders and users into the next level of smart living as the future is multi-protocol, and it’s all about interoperability,” said John E. Osborne II, LEXI’s COO. “Manufacturers, telcos, and retailers need a flexible, future-proof IoT platform to wrap their whole brand around, while their customers need the ‘it just works’ factor to finally kick in and spur the adoption and expansion of smart-everything.”

Fully interoperable with leading IoT ventures, the LEXI IoT platform supports all of the major IoT product categories for diverse smart home environments (e.g. device connectivity, lighting, energy management and security). Additionally, it extends to markets for smart buildings and smart cities, and smart agriculture. (e.g. powerful asset-tracking and environmental and industrial monitoring)

“Our white-label, edge-to-cloud LEXI IoT platform brings relief to today’s often frustrating digital existence,” said Scott Cahill, LEXI’s CEO. “It provides intelligent connections to generate new revenue streams, attract new subscribers, and increase loyalty through a rewarding and interconnected IoT experience.”
