Connected Home: Event to Offer Roadmap for Innovation

A group of business and technical experts are set to gather for The Connected Home Appliance Ecosystem: A Roadmap for Business and Technology Leaders, the home appliance industry’s first IoT summit. This event takes place in San Francisco, CA at the Park Central Hotel on October 29 and 30.

The event will bring together home appliance business and technical leaders to discuss how best to integrate connected home appliances into the smart home ecosystem, and the IoT industry in general.

There will be many sessions, including:

  • The Future of Smart Hubs with Michele Turner, Senior Director, Google Smart Home Ecosystem
  • Developments in Component and Connectivity Technologies moderated by Mike Ballard, General Manager, Home Automation and Security, Microchip Technology and with panelists Joseph Bousaba, Vice President, Smart Home & Consumer Businesses, IoT, Qualcomm, Sami Nassar, Vice President, Cyber Security Technologies, NXP Semiconductors, Stuart McLaren, IoT Marketing Manager, STM Electronics and Jay Johnson, Senior Marketing Manager, Home Appliance Solutions, Renesas
  • A Conversation On Predictive Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Appliances with Andy Chinmalgund, Chief Executive Officer, Bruviti and Mohammed Ansari, General Manager and Senior Vice President, LG Silicon Valley Lab

The event is hosted by AHAM, the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers. For more than 50 years, AHAM has been the leading voice for the home appliance industry, promoting growth and innovation across the industry. It represents manufacturers of a full spectrum of major, portable and floor care appliances, as well as suppliers to the industry.
